Tony speaks at the National Novel Writing Challenge – Milton Keynes Central Library

11 Nov

For the second year running Tony was invited to speak to participants in the NaNoWriMo event held at Milton Keynes library last Saturday.

Over fifteen students, who are attempting to write a 50,000 word fiction book in November, spent the afternoon discussing planning, themes, characters, pace and reader climax.

And all received prizes! A copy of ‘Hannah’s Choice’ a short story which Tony has written as an ambassador for HEART UK – The Cholesterol Charity.

Ganga Bharani, a student taking part in the event thoroughly enjoyed the experience and gave some superb feedback “Had an amazing time with the writers. Tony Drury’s speech was inspiring. I have started to write with a structure and I have also tried setting my own rules for my novel”.
